ABOUT JULI
Hi!!! Juli here…. how are you?
You've come to this page to learn a more about me… and perhaps in some way my journey will resonate with you and I may even be able to assist you in some way. Make sure that you connect with me on FB, TW and LI if you feel we should connect!
Here goes…I am fortunate enough to work from my home office in the glorious Whitsundays on The Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia. I live here in a beautiful historic home which I share with my husband Brett and our three young girls, Isabella (4yo). Alexandra (2yo) and Claudia (1yo).
My journey reads like this… I feel privileged to have grown up in a small farming community outside Melbourne, Australia. I rode horses and climbed trees. I was so free. As a result, I have valued and pursued freedom ever since. I watched my parents work hard and achieve through private enterprise and aspired to done the same. I wanted to be part of the family business, but that was not to happen. So I completed school and enrolled to study for my Bachelor of Education. My mother advised me it was a ‘good career for a lady’, (presumably until I married a man who would then take care of me!). Well, I had other ideas, and although I relished my teaching career, it soon became limiting, particularly financially. I was determined to be self sufficient (or perhaps defiant!) and private enterprise enticed; if only I could combine my two interests; teaching and business.
The world beckoned and I would spend a few years gallivanting around working in all manner of places from the UK, USA to Africa. Upon my return, I trained briefly in retail management and after identifying a need, went on to build a health conscious café in my new home town in Queensland. I sold that after three years; it still sells great juices to this day! This experience taught me persistence and what ‘long hours’ really are! I vowed never to work that hard again although my soul is better for it still. A long held interest in design saw me begin a Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) which I have yet to complete. It did however ignite my passion for property.
Not content to work for someone else, I educated myself in all aspects of property development and used my design knowledge (and builder friend!) to build a healthy income stream developing property through value – adding. This market finally became saturated and I decided to move on. I now have a property portfolio with a six figure net worth and continue a buy and hold strategy. All this time I had continued to teach part time to satisfy a deep desire to lead and inspire young people (I still do this to this today)
After marrying in 2002, I started having babies and saw a ‘hole in the market’ for natural linen products for babies and infants. A friend and I launched our first successful internet business. It was a fascinating and invigorating journey which took us from design, manufacture through to inventory and marketing. This was a turning point. I was excited by the power and potential of leveraging both my time and market access by using the Internet. Why had I not seen this I thought?! Since then, I have built three successful online businesses and am about to embark on my fourth with my friend and now business partner Justine Simard.
We are responding to a demand for a new approach to generating a substantial long term online income… we call it sustainable online business. We have both seen the absolute burn out that most naive network marketers suffer due to cold calling, purchasing dud leads, difficulty closing sales and so on… they come to us looking for answers and through our new venture, we hope to assist many. Of course I continue to operate my primary network marketing business opportunity because it provides a lucrative income stream, but these days, prospects come to me… thankfully!
To be part of our new FREE venture… and I'd love to see you there… go on over to Spunk-eBusiness at www.spunkebusiness.com and register for your free membership and let's see how we can provide real solutions to long term wealth online.
